THE MISSION

What is my vision? What do I truly wish to accomplish through my life's work?

To begin each day in the Zen state known as beginner's mind, a state of mind that is "innocent of preconceptions and expectations, judgments and prejudices."

Through the beginner's mind, I work to create that which will illustrate the progress of my soul. By accessing and exploring one at a time what are known as the chakras, or the layers of consciousness, I study my habits and routines, searching for the core motivation of each. Questioning who I think I am, trying to rise above conformity and the cultural mind and access the group consciousness, thereby refracting the light of awareness in my work.

I do not wish to create that which is functionless and devoid of spirit, but rather, create something in my worldview that will affect the group consciousness in a positive way. I want the things I create to connect the layers of awareness, to display the connection and progress of humanity's most basic urges to the highest levels of spirituality. Creations that will cause the viewer to look with what Saint Bonaventure refers to as the "three eyes" - the eye of flesh for the material realm, the eye of reason for the conceptual, and the mystic eye of contemplation.

Alex Grey states in his book, "The Mission of Art", that "creating a piece of art is like creating a present for the world." Every person who views it will feed on the energy of its color, shape, texture and content. It is a chain of humanity feeding each soul.

The mission reaches beyond art, beyond music, beyond writing... it is utmost awareness and infinite love, a love of god above all it's names and forms, the love of creation. Everything you are is a part of the web of creation, one thread pulling infinitely on all others. Ask yourself, "how do I want to affect the web?"

Be sure, I adore you all (all members of this community and creations of "God's" work) and find every thought, passion, and random instance of your personal being to be truly inspiring. For loving, hating, pitying, consoling, and yes, even just rambling, your thoughts, opinions, and very essence of being in all its forms are all truly beautiful to me, for you are human, and still an integral and immortal thread in this web of creation.

You're thoughts, feelings, wisdom... your very essence is always there, within all of the self-sustaining power of creation to be tapped into, and explored; an eternal source of inspiration to all those who follow.
No matter what is currently happening in your life, always remember this and know that even if you do not feel that your life is worth it, or it is not what you intended it to be, your experiences will forever guide who follow you, and they can, and will hear (be it in vague dreams, or very personal experiences), the things you have endured and take strength... be a Positive Influence to those future generations.

Having studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, Bavari displays in his work a mastery of oil, watercolours, engraving, and elements of sculpture as well as photography and digital photomanipulation. "A Dictionary of Angels" by Gustav Davidson
Free Press, 1967

This book is a comprehensive reference of angels (including the fallen) across several cultures and mythos, including christian, kabbalistic, muslim, yezidic, several grimoires, and other occult references. The appendices are another excellent resource as well. They include Orders of the Celestial Hierarchy, listings of ruling angels, angelic sigils, names of God, and of the fallen, from various sources. The book even provides a few prayers, spells, and conjurations.

Equilibrium

After a third world war, it is decided that the planet cannot survive a fourth. To prevent this, civilization embraces a new government, the Tetragrammaton. Under it's rule, it has decided that "man's inhumanity to man" is caused by the ability to feel. All citizens take regular injections of Prozium to kill the extreme highs and lows of emotion and everything that is seen as being able to elicit it (art, music, books, etc) is given a rating of EC-10 and destroyed. In the meantime, in the Tetragrammaton's highest ranks, is cleric John Preston. After missing a mandatory timed dose, he begins to truly see the world around him and what it's become - and fights back. This movie shows among other things, that evil cannot exist without good to oppose it, and the stronger you try suppress something, the more it becomes a danger to oneself.
